Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Turn pc into an access point

Trying to use a Belkin USB adapter to turn pc into an access point, its meant to work but i cant see how. Belkin F5d7050 usb adapter and the inc software only allows to connect to APs not be one. But its meant to be able to do this so laptops and my DS can connect tru it. Anyone know how this can be setup? kdjac

Very few cards allow BS mode.
Youll need either a dedicated acces opint or an orinoco card AFAIK

I wrote out a whole load of stuff, but then found this:

Everything you need should be in there.

As MOTR points out, it will be difficult or impossible to set it up as a bonafide AP, but you should be able to have your network minus a hardware AP.

Either purchase an AP, or ICS or HostAP are the way forward tbh.
