MP3 Player - Auxilary Amplifier

I got an MP3 Player for XMas and I'l looking for a decent (within budget) Amplifier for it. It's not an ipod so I'm looking for one that will work with a standard output. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks, - RintPete

Check that if any of the HiFi/Stereo's you have at home have an line in/AUX input. I found that this route sounds vastly better than any of the "solutions" you see in the shops for MP3's players.

However if all you are looking for is a proper amp to drive your speakers, then take a look at this, thinking of trying this myself. Someone else mentioned it on the boards recently.
