    Painmuseum are worth a listen for anyone into 100% Metal with no ****ing about and minus the cheese. Great album.

    i'd like to pimp a band here if i may

    they've got a new album coming out tomorrow called "death pop romance". if you like your melodic metalcore whatchamacallit genre ("hybrid metal" as the buzz word goes) a-la soilwork and in flames (bar "come clarity" which is garbage IMO) go visit your local record emporium and pick up raunchy's new work. new singer turns everything heavier and the chorus' more epic then before.

    Meshuggah are a bit TOO forward, they have a very unique sound so I wouldnt exactly say Meshuggah, even though Im a HUGE fan of theirs.

    Try some Isengard, Venom, Cirith Ungol and Rhapsody.The first 3 are a big fav with me lately, the last is just what would seem to fit with your tastes, or what would seem to fit with the other reccommendations
