Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Can't think of one offhand, but for unprotected documents you can select all of the text and copy/paste into a document.

    Try http://www.foxitsoftware.com/
No pdf to doc, but they have pdf to text only.

Adobe are number 2 in the big software company league and a lot of it is due to people not being able to easily extract info from portected PDF's

use pdf creator to print to a tiff or similar and then import with the OCR sw in office 2003 - or use other OCR like smart projects one if you use any other app for wordprocessing.

Reading the FAQ, rather, between the lines of the FAQ-i wouldn't expect great quality to be honest..

Yeh it's a protected PDF, hence the problem. I will try the ideas mentioned here. Thank you.

If its protected probably no chance. If it wasn't you could tell Adobe website to convert it into html for you.

If you can get your hands on Omnipage Pro you can scan the document in Truepage for Word.

    Forgot to mention
copyright automatically exists when a work is created.
and if the document is protected then you just have to assume that they aren't allowing you to copy it.
