Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources, Noel Dempsey T.D., has announced his intention to conduct a review of the list of events designated as events of major importance to society for which the right of a qualifying broadcaster to provide coverage on a free television service should be provided in the public interest.

The Minister also announced his intention to consider the possible designation of the 2006 Ryder Cup in the course of the review.

In announcing the review Minister Dempsey invited submissions from members of the public on the designated events and the possible designation of additional events. The closing date for receipt of submissions is 27 January 2006.
