hiya all and happy new year.

Can anyone give me some advice on this?

My wife and I are both provisional drivers with 3 years ncb on our 1 car. a 98 peugeot 306 1360cc. our current insurer is allianz and its only €600ish
We want to buy a second car but don't want to get ripped off on insurance.

What is the best thing to do?

Put yourself as the main driver of the Pug or the second car and your wife as the main driver of the other.. You can both still be named drivers on the respective cars too.

    Hey

I work for one of the big insurance companies and the best way to work it is to each hold an 'insured and partner' policy with the other named on it. the lower the engine size of the car and mileage level can lead to a reduced premium.
