Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just wondering how you get your tickets ? Do you have to fly over with a supporters club or can you buy a fan card ala the liverpool fans and apply for a ticket that way ? I need to see a match this season and the next.

Usually through one of the agents over here and get the whole package deal, the last crowd I went through was Celtic Horizon Tours for the AC Milan game last season.

    The packages are crap tbh

Join the One United fanclub, find out your local branch and get tickets through them

It works out at 200 euro for the weekend for me,leave friday morning, boat over to holyhead, bus to hotel near Northenden town outside Manchester, tickets for the game on Saturday, tehn return journey home on Sunday....Alternatively you can fly

best thing these days is buy everything yourself online - youll get your match tickets online (im not a man u fan but i get my everton tickets this way)....just make sure you buy them DIRECTLY off man u, if you go through some online ticket company you tend to get ripped off....cheap ryanair flights + youll find cheap/reasonable hotel prices online

Two things. Apply to the ticket office, tickets are going on general sale for most matches, not the big ones obviously. Remember when the Glazers stooges said that there were 8 fans waiting for every ticket sent back? Not true.

Also cheap Ryanair tickets??? For match weekends? Watch the prices rise when we play at home? Last time I went it was in via Leeds and out via Liverpool. Was with an agent (last minute thing, very expensive). But if you plan it out well before hand you can cut the costs. Anyway enjoy.

I still say your best bet is through your local supporters branch, ive gone with them for about 6 years

    Go to Man Utd.com
Pay the money and sign up as a match member
    Then apply for tickets

It's the easiest and cheapest way

Supporters branches are also quite easy to use.

I go a number of different ways.

First way would be to get tickets off my local Cavan Branch SC, and get a flight over with Aer Lingus (they usually have very good flight times on Saturdays ie. 9.30am to Manchester, 9.30pm to Dublin). It can work out quite cheap that way. The ticket locations aren't the best though IMO.

Second way is to apply through the United website with a One United membership. This can get you damn good seats for a game, but can be quite risky if you already have plane tickets booked as you are not guaranteed a ticket. More often than not you will get the ticket unless it is a big game.

Third way I would go is through Whartons Travel (http://www.whartontravel.com/), they offer a number of games on package deals, one of which I am going on later this month for the Liverpool game. Prices vary from game to game, but I got a ticket for the Benfica game through them for €149 which includes bus travel, ferry, ticket and a nights stay at the hotel. Wasn't bad value at all, IMO. This journey can take alot out of you though, it took 10 hours to get from Cavan town to Manchester and vice versa. It is only something I would do if I was desperate to see a game.
