    Hi,

I've been using Esat Bt/IOL/Esatclear for years now and am currently on the Imb/128k Broadband service. I'm currently considering switching to Digiweb 3mb/512k service. I have a wireless network set up at the moment using a D-Link DSL-G604T Wireless Router with two Desktop PC's and a laptop connected through it. I was just wondering will the changeover be fairly seemless and will there be any issues with my current set-up?

    Cheers :D

Well one problem you may come up against is that your router is a DSL router, i had a linksys wag54g ADSL router and it wouldnt work with the metro modem because tbh its really made for a dsl connection where you plug the phone straight into it.
When i got my metro i got a Linksys WRT54g and it worked straight out of the box, i got it off komplett

some aswell have used the 3com office router aswell.

Both are great routers, but thats the trouble with an all in one modem/router when it comes to changing type of supply of internet
