Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    A very happy new year to you all, and what a year it was ay! Between the magic that was the Electric Picnic, the days out in Marley Park, the weekend piss up at Oxygen, the plethora of great guests to grace Dublin, the rise of Hospital and the fall of 12Ten and of course not forgetting the madness that was Mixed Salad, it really was a memorable one!

    So this year begins with the arrival of Acii Disco and what has been a great start to the night looks even better now with four more dates on the horizon.

    This Saturday 7th of January -
    Al Keegan is joined by local boys Sean Hendrix and Brian Cairns and from Londons hip happening electro house scene My Soul aka Shane Kehoe. Sean has been a regular at the summer Mixed Salad sessions and Brian has recently played at top nights such as Pogo and Melodica and never fails to impress with his very unique twisted sets. My Soul has just been signed to Gungho records and is a regular guest at top nights all over London.

    Saturday 21st of January -
    Resident DJ Al Keegan celebrates his 21st birthday! DJs on the night include Disaster Grogan, Jonathon Woods and Al Keegan. All are invited to take part in the celebrations and admission on this night will be FREE!

    Saturday 4th of February -
    Invisible Agent and Seedy R records party. Some of the top electro and acid house acts from Invisible Agent and Seedy R records take over for the night.     Al Keegan is joined by local lad Sian (pokerflat records) and the godfather of techno Abe Duque (abe duque records, discob, gigolo)
    ABE DUQUE started his career in 1988 and was resident at the famous Rancho Relaxo Nights during the heydays of Limelight NYC. He is a DJ / Producer and has recorded and produced under names such as: ABE DUQUE, KIRLIAN, THE SUPER SECRET SYMPHONY, FACIL, RUNNING MAN,PROGRAM2 and released on well known labels such as Gigolo, Tresor, Imago, State of mind, Warner Bros, Disko-b, Oval, V2, Vortex, Sahko, Mainframe, Instinct, Tension, Abuse, Mille Plateaux, Panther, Sonic Groove and Rapture. He founded Tension and Abe Duque Records, co-founder of Rapture Records and founder of the supergroup and label RANCHO RELAXO ALL-STARS. Abe has released tracks together with the likes RICHARD DORFMEISTER, JIMI TENOR, BLAKE BAXTER, JOHN SELWAY, PATRICK PULSINGER, DJ HELL and MISS KITTEN.

    Although it is in the back room in Radio City, Acii Disco will have nothing to do with what goes on in that room this or any Saturday night. It has a completly seperate entrance which is located beside isaccs hostel down Frenchmans lane. Confusing I know, but to gain entry to Acii Disco you must use the entrance located around the corner from the main Radio City entrance. Directions from o connell st are as follows -

    If u simply get the luas or walk as far as the abbey st luas stop, then walk toward the bus station, you will come to the overhead bridge that says "North cider or South Cider" on it. You then follow the road around to the left as you go under this bridge. You will then see a Talk & Surf internet shop across the road on the corner. You should go up the lane beside the Talk & Surf and just past Isaccs hostel you should see a big scary bouncer sort standing beside a door. Inside this door you will gain entry to Acii Disco. Nice one! Alternativly you can find your way to the main Radio City door and ask for directions from there.
