Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi
My boyfriend frequently jumps out of bed at night thinking he's choking. It lasts about 30 seconds and then he goes back to sleep and doesn't remember it happening in the morning. I find it very scary. Does anyone know why he does this?

Sounds like sleep walking. Try to wake him up the next time.

    I hope that's a joke.

Any change in sleeping position recently? Or change of bed covers/washing powder, etc?
He should go to a doctor to check that there isn't anything physically restricting his breathing.

A lot of medical conditions can cause this - does he have anything like asthma or a heart condition of any kind?

Similar used to happen to me a fair bit - with the exception that I would remember (as I would wake up). Stopped when I quit smoking.

This is not a medical board.
