It just dawned on me, sitting here chugging the lattes that you alcoholics do not cater for the non drinkers or underage among us. No dont get me wrong Im as fond of the booze as the next man but would anyone be up for a UCD boards coffee.? Moda has a good smoking section that im sure we could fill easily and can be arranged quickly. Would anyone be pushed for this?

    How about the 14th? Eh

And Im not just saying this cause I cant make it to the beers

Yea I'd be up for that. Also good for those of us who are low on the funds at the moment.

Since Scraggs cant make the beers maybe we should pick a different date for the coffee?

Also, where is this Moda of which you speak?

its really annoying, now i have the pressure of only havin two left [one after this] i have to make the posts really good 'uns and of course with all this pressure i've got writers block!!

Heres two coffee related blonde jokes to stay on topic...

Why don't blondes get coffee breaks at work?
    Because retraining costs too much!

A blonde says to a brunette, ''Excuse me, but each time I sip my coffee, my eye seems to hurt.''
The brunette says, ''Well maybe you should take the spoon out of the cup.''

EDIT: hey waltons ur tippin close urself!!

I like the idea of beers without beers, but I still won't be there. Quick with the posts Scraggs aren't you. I guess it's on topic to say that I was in Scraggs Alley for the first time very recently and had a good time. Don't know if I'll ever be back though. Carlow is so far away...

I have been in Scraggs many times (OH MATRON!!!) due to friends in the i.t. The whole building its in is quite cool. The halloween party in 2004 being my favourite night there. Also to keep ot :D I despise coffee so I probably wont be there.

    w00t this really took off.

How about during the first week of college term?
Moda is a cafe in Rathmines underneath the clock tower and it also serves beer at €4 a pint i think. Bottles of wine too and its open till 4am on a friday and saturday. Perhaps Ill repost closer to the date. Im sure we can try and pick a day where everyone can come.

So booze drinkers and coffee drinkers will be catered for and a small private outdoor (smokers steph!!) and heated enviroment.

And on an unrelated topic , since no-one visits the new arch forum here ya go.... Me being Crazy

Sounds good to me......however with it being in Rathmines my attendance may be cut short. What with the whole living in the sticks!
