    i was just wonderin if gibson still make explorer basses because i cant find them anywhere

    the explorer bass does not feature on the gibson website....probably out of production

    I havent tried the Epiphone but if you are interested in this model, you should check out the Tokai Thunderbird.

    Musicmaker were selling them up until a couple of months ago..not sure if they are still there or not.

    Yes ciaran, i have and like ive said before there ****, the nut is prone to coming lose the action is really high and in my case couldnt be lowered without the strings clanging off the fretboard and the string spacing is bad for finger players like yourself. wasnt crazy about its feel or tone either but DAMM THOSE THINGS LOOK SEXY!!!
