I got a new DVD player (CyberHome from Amazon) and neither it nor the TV have a headphone jack so I was wondering if it's still possible to send it to my headphones?
The audio output the DVD player has is Left and Right output and coaxial output.

You can buy a lead, or get one made. What you need is a female Mini Jack to Twin RCA lead. Hence you can plug the RCA into the Red and White Connection and the Head Phones into the Mini jack.

The only problem with this is that the audio out sockets are Line out which means they are not amplified so will have no volume control on them. It will work though.

Yes, line level will be loud enough. You'll need to have headphones with a volume control. There's other ways to do it, even it you didn't have those audio connections. Using the scrat connection and one of these : http://i20.ebayimg.com/04/i/04/ce/0f/fd_1_b.JPG

    Thanks for advice.
In the end I got a twin phono to stereo jack cable, connected that to a stereo jack coupler and plugged earphones into that. Sound was loud and clear and was able to use volume buttons on the DVD's remote to adjust.
