Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I get _very bad_ hayfever in summer but up to November no way, it generally ends around August, earlier in Spain (Hayfever is related to plants' pollen cycles, not the temperature). There are however related allergies that can go on all year round. Ask your pharmacist first, it's free, and if that doesn't help see a doctor. AFAIK you shouldn't be taking the injection until at least March-April, if you can even get it (Irish doctors are not quick to prescribe.)

You could just have been unlucky and had a cold thats taking a while to shake, DrIndy gave a good description on the medical forum a while back about what causes the runny nose and stuffed up feelings during a cold- it seems its down in some part to raised histamine levals - just like hayfever, by the same token anti histamine medications will temporarily get rid of the symptoms but probably prelong the cold.

I would speak to my doc, those year long injections have major health repercussions/risks with long term usage and are only recommended in certain severe cases to my knowledge.

Best treatment I've found is Xyzal (which i noticed several other boardsie's use also in the inevitable hayfever threads that spring up during the warmer months) which completely changed my summers from the misery they used to be, now and again I do get a bit hayfeverish even at this time of year and take the Xyzal for a day or two..but any longer than that..its probably cold induced and best to let run its course.

Again, diagnoses shouldn't be done here, thats for yer local GP to advise on.
