Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Splitting AVIs ?

Can anyone recommend some (preferably free & small size - I'm on dial up here) software to split AVI files so I can store them off my PC ? They're basically digitised home movies, but some are as large as 60 GB & I wanted to be able to trim them & put them onto DVD to store offsite (as it were).

    TIA

Yes, I would also recommend, 'John'. You can get the free trial of John V1.3 from www.john.net/software/trial/v1.3/windows.asp
    Perfect for splitting files.
