How Much Rent Allowance?

Anyone know how much rent allowance Refugees in Dublin get to put towards their monthly housing rent and if this went up in the recent Bugdet.

I imagine refugees get exactly the same rent allowance as everyone else entitled to it. As refugees are entitled to work or may have their own resources (if there's a civil war, its those with their own resources get out first) and will be subject to a means test.

Rent allowance is properly called "Supplementary Welfare Allowance" (SWA), which are poverty-level payments. SWA is a scheme of payments for urgent needs. It is sometimes paid (at the same rate) until say unemployment benefit is paid - sometimes there can be a delay in processing applications.

The current rent rates are €98/120 per weeek for a single person in Dublin.
