Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey guys,

Just going back through some of my fav songs over the past few months and thought this would be an interesting question...well...u know what i mean...list your fav artist/band and ur fav song by him/her/them and then fav verse or two haha

    Fav Artist: Matt Wertz
    Song: Sweetness in starlight
    Lyrics from song:
    Fallin' asleep
    To the sound of stars
    Shooting 'round the moon
But I can't watch them fly tonight, baby
    I'm too busy watchin' you.

I guess your smile is the sun's way
    Of lighting up what's dark
So shine, shine, shine for me baby
    It only takes a spark

I find this the best way to get into "new" music...if you read the lyrics and like them then its half the battle! anyway...just interested to see what you all might add!!

    One of my favorites

    The Boss (Springsteen)/Thunder Road

"Well now, I ain't no hero, that's understood
All the redemption I can offer, girl, is beneath this dirty hood
With a chance to make it good somehow
Hey, what else can we do now?
Except roll down the window and let the wind blow back your hair
Well, the night's busting open, these two lanes will take us anywhere
We got one last chance to make it real
To trade in these wings on some wheels
Climb in back, heaven's waiting on down the tracks"

    always laugh at:
"You aint no beauty, but hey, you're alright" -smooth Bruce.

Cant say for sure this is my absolute favourite song of all time but anyway...

The Smiths / Shoplifters of the world unite

"I tried to live in the real world instead of a shell but before i began, i was bored before i even began.

    Classic anti-social statement

Morrissey and The Smiths have great songs and lyrics. "In a darkened underpass, I thought my God, my chance has come at last. But then a strange fear gripped me and just couldnt ask."

The Verve also a great band, with great lyrics.

    Elliott, Junk Bond Trader,

'the athlete's laugh; the broken crutch
the first true love folded at the slightest touch
brought down like an old hotel
people digging through the rubble for things they can resell
    happy holidays, sad, sick savior
the leaving lover i still favour'
