I'm almost at the buy stage of my DELL upgrade, but want to see if anyone has any tasty recommendations for a €250 - €300 AGP card to give me a decent boost from my current AGP 128Mb 9800 Radeon. I really only play FPS games (FM2006 excepted). I'll be getting an additional 1Gb of RAM to go from 1 to 2GB and have a 3.06Ghz (H Thread). I think i'll end up ordering from Komplett as overclockers are getting a pasting ATM.

I'm guessing (using the 'if it costs more it's better method?!?!) it might be a toss up between the XFX GeForce 6600GT 256MB (core clock 500, RAMDAC 400) at €219 or the XFX GeForce 6800GS 256MB (core clock 350, RAMDAC 400) at €293 what do you think??

The 6800GS is best hope for AGP at the moment.
