    Hi,
    Just a quick Question.

If I had a movie file with ac3 audio and converted in to put on a DVD does it automatically play in 5.1 on my DVD player as I have no menu to select audio settings?

I have only recently began doing this sort of thing so I dunno to much.

    That is all. Thanks :D

Well it depends on the program you used, some programs down convert it to 2 channel.

    What are you using.
If your unsure, authorise a dvd and test it in your dvd player to see, or if you have a pc dvd player there should be a info part of the program that displays the disc info on the screen.

I used DVD Santa. I just put it in and played it with VLC and yep it's in 5.1.

That solution was kinda staring me in the face. :v:
