Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The only game of any importance

    Sheff Wed v Charlton, 15:00

I can see Shef Wed causing a few probs for Charlton, they ain't playing the best and will have to rest players after the busy Xmas period. Shef Wed are finally back into a bit of form and as usual Sturrock will just see this as a cup game and not important to his season(staying in Championship). The players will have the pressure off and if Whelan has a good game then who knows

    2-1:D

Reading would be a decent bet against West Brom

Most of the teams in the league these days and even in Conference actually have decent pitchs. if you watch the Coca Cola league round up on Sky you will see that most of the pitches are in great condition. Some of the Championship stadium are better than PL grounds. This is a something you would have had from maybe 20-30 years ago

Blackburn vs QPR could be a good enough bet. QPR aren't a bad side and I expect Hughes to rest a few players after the hectic Christmas schedule and with the semi-final in the Carling Cup against United during the week.

Most of the teams also have Shed ends....awesome :)

Clyde vs. Celtic, Roy Keane's potential debut, is on Sky Sports as well.

Sky have been building it up all week, I'd laugh if Strachan didn't even play Keane.

Well it's impossible to predict FA Cup matches, but if I had to chose what matches I'd see as possible upsets, I'd go for:
Hull vs. Villa (Villa so unpredictable this season)
Sheffield Wednesday vs. Charlton (Charlton have bad cup record against lower opposition)
Norwich vs. West Ham (Norwich on a great run, West Ham struggling a bit)
Millwall vs. Everton (Millwall are finally showing some form in the Championship)
West Brom vs. Reading (Reading flying high, unbeaten away from home all season)

Think he will get on at some stage. Sky saying all week that he might not get a full debut but will get onto the pitch at some stage. I think it is in Celtics best interest for TV rights and so on to keep Sky sweet so you could see him get 20-30 mins at end. Sky seemed pretty certain that he would be playing in this game. Maybe they have an agreement to help pay off the wages:D

Wolverhampton v Plymouth should be tight as a ducks arse though Wolves will be pumped up after the recent league "near defeat" by Argyle.

I wonder if Rafa will "throw" the Luton game? ;)

Just looking at the Bolton team news, they have suspensions, injuries and players heading off to the African Nation's Cup. Watford are doing really well in the Championship, could be another Premiership bananna skin. Although Watford aren't without their own injury worries.

Stoke v Tamworth, 15:00 - Stoke, but i'd love tamworth to win :)

Will be at Stoke City v Tamworth later - Have a bad feeling about this one.
Blyth Spartans ,Telford and Nuneaton Borough have done the Mighty Potters in the last thirty years in the FA Cup .. and Stoke City have one of the worse records in the FA Cup as a professional club.
Injuries to key players, problems within the management team, problems within the board of Directors - I was at Mansfield Town in the league cup earlier this season - lets hope it aint a repeat of that
    3-1

Villa with a goal unfairly disallowed and Hull with a blatant penalty denied, all in the space of a minute or so.

Wigan make seven changes for the visit of Leeds with the main one in goal where John Filan makes his first start since mid-November. Ryan Taylor, Steve McMillan, Matt Jackson, Alan Mahon, Andreas Johansson and David Connolly also come in.

Arsenal rest captain Thierry Henry against Cardiff and field youngsters Johan Djourou and Kerrea Gilbert in defence alongside Philippe Senderos and Lauren. There is experience in the rest of the side which includes Dennis Bergkamp and Robni van Persie.

Cardiff have not been allowed to play on-loan midfielder Jason Koumas while Paul Parry and Willie Boland are sidelined by injury. Former Arsenal defender Rhys Weston does start against his old club.

Nice to see. What's up with Man City's Onuoha? I think he's being subbed off in his last 3 starts which is odd for a defender. Don't ask me how I noticed that.

In Scotland (and of interest to Wednesday fans) Kris Boyd has got a 2nd half hattrick on his debut for Rangers.
