Has anybody ever come across anywhere decent for bath and sink taps and other accessories such as electronic towel rails, soap dishes etc. Either online or bricks and morter will be fine. We're getting a new bathroom and the taps cost nearly as much as the bath and sinks in the bathroom showrooms.

i got a chrome heated towel rad from clondalkin builder providers (near the social welfare building) for €199...its quality and is quite big, it makes me laugh whenever I'm in a bathroom showroom/tiling place and see the equivalent going for over 400 blips. note this is a plumbed towel rad which I highly recommend you go with if possible.

ikea are great for all sorts of bathroom cabinets and accessories, one of those extendable and reversible shaving mirrors in chrome is something like £3 for example, and I hear their taps are just fine aswell. other than that, you'll find B&Q are the cheapest place for taps, but, unlike their power tools range, I'm not sure if their taps are decent quality - only bought the one for the utility room but having troubles with poor flow in the hot tap on it.

I got a deal from a mate who used to work in Smallman's Ranelagh and got great gear off them, discount price meant I could go with mixers everywhere and have to say I find the handiness and slickness of these well worth the money.

I'd say ebay is the place to look for this sort of gear

Cheers for the reply. Do you happen to remember the name of of the building providers in Clondalkin, I've no idea where the social welfare centre is.

I noticed this e-bay shop which stock some fairly decent looking taps etc. Not sure how these products compare price wise to Ireland, but bet they are cheaper. Worth a look anyway. Note: I havn't bought anything from them but there rating is good.

I've seen that, they look pretty decent, must see can I find them for sale anywhere in Ireland, I'd be certain they're a fair bit cheaper. The bathroom suites look pretty reasonable as well, although I'd say the postage would add a fair bit to their cost.
