Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Does Windows XP keep a log file of individual user logins to a pc? I'm trying to find a way of doing this without using an external app

Can you clarify what sort of information is required? (i.e. Login times & dates, privileges, or just the list of usernames?)

You can tell windows XP to audit logon events, but afaik it's not enabled by default.

have a look in security in the event viewer in admin tools.

check that you have auditing turned on. if running XP home then most of this stuff was removed to force corporates to buy the PRO version.

there are apps to export the events to log files because they are about as helpful as brakes on an unicycle where they are.

You could put a batch file in startup folder to pipe stuff to a text file
    echo %Username% %time% %date% >> c:<%username%.txt
