Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Part 1 on channel 4 now. Good polemic on religion on how it contributes to the ills of the world.

A wonderful program and a must see for all. I didn't get a chance to tape it so hopefully it will be repeated. The second part is on next Monday at 8. Richard Dawkins is a particularly articulate and educated man. He a non imposing educator and a credit to science. I don't think he put a foot wrong in his arguments and I am especially glad he covered the topic of the lack of freedom of speech when it comes to critisising religion in today's society.

Was a good program, agreed with most points of Dawkins. However I found his low-level anger offputting, his interviews were confrontational and generated more heat than light. Rather than just rationally put across his argument he embarked on a mini-crusade against religion.
