After an accident lands Brian in the hospital, he has a near-death experience that leads him to take a new lease on life. He finds a passion for singing and develops a new nightly gig with Frank Sinatra Jr., but his “live in the moment” lifestyle only goes so far. Meanwhile, Meg’s sexuality swings the other way on the “Brian Sings and Swings” episode of FAMILY GUY Sunday, Jan. 8 (9:00-9:30 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (FG-421)

Anyone seen it, good/bad/indifferent? I'll be watching it later, I'll post up my opinions then!

Saw it over here in canada, it was meh. they had funny joke with a song that sounded like they were gonna say c*nt. but thats hardly spectacular. American dad was much much stronger.

Ah come on, it was more than meh.

The Dart Vader bit with Chris at the beginning, The Rock, Meg's dolls running away and the Care Bear committing suicide, Peter as a Jew, Chris and Quagmire in the closet filming Meg's lesbian friends.

I know a lot of people are saying American Dad has been better than Family Guy but I have to dissagree. I just don't think it's nearly as funny.

This was a great episode.... my theory of family-guy-after-the-break-always-being-funny is still holding true....

both shows where amazing this week but with family guy slightly ahead next week someone post a poll to see which episode is better

Didn't think it was great to be honest. Although singing always puts me off, so that could have something to do with it

They were both very good this week,but i think American Dad was funnier,only slightly though

Apart from a couple of amusing scenes, I found this weeks episode to be pretty disappointing.

Thought they were both strong episodes this week.

I think people are saying American Dad is funnier just because it comes across as fresher. We've had Peter and Brian et al for a few years now but the Smiths haven't been around as long. Although some would argue they are a carbon copy of the FG cast at least from a family dynamic point of view.
