Hi guys, im helping out a friend who plays counterstrike source at an international level. His team is one of the top 5 in europe, but they dont have a website. The team is very well known on the gaming scene, and have won 9/10 leagues, cups and tournies they have competed in and have been offered sponsorship deals with nvidia and monkeyware.co.uk but had to refuse them because they had no way of properly advertising the sponsor other than irc.

The lads have been screwed over 4 seperate times (from what im told) with regards to having a site being made. They have someone at the moment working on a design, and he has produced 2 seperate templates which were good, but not up to scratch layout-wise. He is now producing a hybred of the two which should be very nice. The Goal of this site is to produce a community, post news on the team, have links to the footage of the games played, have interviews with other players from around the world, and host file downloading. All this must be able to be updated easy aswell.

The site should have the same feel as - http://www.e-srael.org/
or even http://www.sk187.net/news.php... but that wouldnt be their ideal site.

Basicly they are asking for someone to sponsor their website coding. In return, you get advertising for your site on irc/the site itsself. Expect 200 hits a day and when the community grows the hits will do likewise.

If your interested just reply here or use irc or email.

They don't really need a coder, they need someone who can apply a skin to an application like XOOPS or PostNuke (or similar). It's really not that difficult to skin something these days, they should consider doing it themselves to learn what's involved, so they'll be able to do their own updates in future. (No-one is going to agree to skin the site and update it for free; or rather they will, but they won't be worth it.)
