Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Joe Cole Beaten Up!

Dont think Mourinho is gonna be over the moon about this, especially after his quote about Joe C last wk.. Story is pretty funny tho, couldnt be more stereotypical..

Joe Cole has reportedly suffered a savage beating after trying to chat up Page 3 girl Keeley Hazell.

A 'love rival' gave Cole such a thrashing that the Chelski and England midfielder 'was almost unrecognisable', says The Sun.

The paper, who regularly present the considerable charms of the lovely Keeley, says that Cole jumped out of a window in a bid to escape, 'covered in cuts and bruises and dripping blood.'

Cole’s shirt was reportedly ripped off in the struggle, and along the way he also managed to lose his mobile phone and money. And also, somewhat more unfathomably, his shoes.

The contretemps is said to have kicked-off on Saturday night when Cole and West Ham defender Anton Ferdinand - who, according to reports elsewhere, has the pleasure of dating the aforementioned Ms Hazell - went back to the Page 3 girl’s house after a night out.

According to the Sun, 'Former hairdresser Keeley had made no secret in the past of the fact she fancies diminutive Cole.

'They were chatting closely when another guest butted in. A source said: "It all went off. It was late and everyone had downed a few drinks. Joe and Keeley were getting on well but another admirer copped the right hump about it."'

Although, from the sounds of it, it’s Cole who actually copped it.

I believe the Sun's report also suggested that Anton Ferdinand ran after Cole because he was "worried"
Ornaments and fittings were damaged in the fracas. Cole fled and worried Ferdinand, younger brother of Manchester United star Rio, went looking for him.

Now I'm not the sort to start rumours or owt, but does anyone else find it a bit suspect that Anton Ferdinand, who may currently, or have in the past, had the pleasure of Ms. Hazell's private company, was the one to follow Cole because he was "worried"...

Like, considering a jealous third party gave him a hiding for getting a little close to the aforementioned Ms. Hazell?

    ;)

Have you ever been given a damn good hiding after trying to chat up a pretty lass? Or did you dish out the beating? Have you ever escaped out of a window? Send us your memories at theeditor@football365.com

from the sounds of it he got a fairly good beating apparently he was unrecognisable - its seems unprovoked so its very unfortunate, i like JC as a player and has really come on since mourinho took over.

Mourinho should backlash by sending over over a couple of fellas to beat the man who beat up Joe Cole.

According to this morning's Popbitch, our hero was allegedly engaged in very advanced discussions in the bathroom with the model and following an interruption made an unexpectedly fast exit through the bathroom window.
