Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

wifi question

    Hi just signed to boards. Could any of you wifi experts give some info.
    I just bought a new Sony Vaio laptop with wifi and would like to know if there is any special knowledge required if I get into a hotspot with this computer. ie does it log into the net atomatically when I open my brower?

    It depends on how the "hotspot" is configured.
    If it's broadcasting the network (SSID) - then your VAIO may tell you that there's a network within range. Otherwise, you will need the network settings; and if it's something like BTOpenZone - a voucher/account..
