    Anyone having problems? Mine's been out since late last night; got a sync light but it won't connect.

    I'm on Eircom DSL and that went last night too. Still have sync, but modem log shows PPP is failing.

    Rang Eircom and they said there was a fault affecting the whole 021 area. Didn't realise it was affecting other providers tho...

    Back now. That's the second time now in just a few months there's been a major outage in Cork. :rolleyes:

    The Churchfield exchange went down apparently. Most of Cork city was down and parts of West Cork too.

    no downtime for me at all, so it's not the whole 021 area anyway

    From 4 seperate Broadband users
    BT down Douglas Exchange
    BT down Mahon Exchange
    Eircom up Douglas Exchange
    Eircom down Quakers Road Exchange

    Seems the loss of internet was random

    mine went off too last night but its back now. seems to be very slow though !
