Heres a couple of piercings I done. First is a rim to conch scaffold, was supposed to be tragus to conch but the angles wouldnt work so I convinced the girl to let me go to the rim instead. Turned out class imo. The second is tripple nape with the barbells desending into a v shape. ie 20mm bar, 18mm bar and 16mm bar.

    AH! So Pretty! Nicely done

Celestial ring are doing a new type of surface piercing, it's like back of a labret stud inserted under the skin and then you can screw on any type of jewellery (within reason, weight limits etc). I've seen a couple done now, and i'm def considering it!

You got any pics or even the name for it so i can google that thing :)

The problem with jewelery type like that is that hole in it isn't big enough to let enough tissue grow through to make it hold plus the stem gives the jewelery too much leverage.

How much was this? Where did you get it? Did it hurt much? Is there any reduced movement with that hand?

I got it done by Paddy in Bodyshock at a tattoo Convention in Cork about 2 years ago now. My other one was done recently in tattoo zoo, in cork.

Dunno how much I was charged for it, cos I got a scaffold with it and I got a good price for both. I'm guessing it would be about 40 euro or so, give or take a few bob.
Pain? No..but it's not something that I'd consider a factor in my decisions anyway.
Nope doesnt effect any movements either. Once it's pierced with the correct placement.
It can be hard to heal at first, just cos of the area but once it did, I've never had any problems with them since.

I was gonna get my cartlidge punched at 5mm, but i was a little dodge about it. I'd say it'd take forever to heal.
