it was done by a perfectly competent piercer, one of the best in europe by a long mile. Does the name Lukas Zpira ring a bell?

its isnt too long, its 40mm exactly. He measuerd it and said that a barbell any shorter wouldnt sit right cos i am pretty broad.

There are no signs of rejection what so ever, in fact the swelling is gone already. I intend having this excellently done piercing for a long time to come thank you very much. However if it does reject 'from the centre out!' il be the first to tell you ok?

oh and it wasnt done with a gun either

I got the impression that the length of a surface piercing was dictated to a certain extent by the thickness and condition of the tissue being pierced. Is that not the case?

Good news: I LEFT CLAIRE'S AND NO LONGER HAVE TO INFECT DUBLIN'S TEENS/KIDS WITH RANDOM INFECTIONS!! Yeah!

On the other side of things. I took out most of my face metal. I had: my bridge, two nose studs on the left and one on the right, my lip pierced 4 times.

Now all i have is a snakebite!! Hahaha, WHAT a change.. And the pink hair is gone too!!!!

New look. I took all the metal out of my face bar the snakebite.
Ears are at 14mm (Can't see them here tho.)
And that surface in my arm's been there for a few months now.
The pic is from a set i did recently, so sorry for it being poser-ish!

uhm well if you are worried about what your principal will think im assuming you are under 18, id suggest maybe a tongue piercing? just have a look on bmezine.com and look in the piercing section. plenty of ideas, you are just limited to what you feel comfortable getting pierced and possibly your age

My sister got expelled for not taking hers out. And I started a big riot in the school one day over it.

They'd insist I put plasters and such over them. So my scaffold had a giant plaster over it. Looked like I got beaten up.

Anyway. Bmezine.com has some excellent ideas for piercings.

Haha, it sure seems like you're free in college til you have to get a job to support yourself I haven't gotten any piercings in almost 2 years because of this! It sucks.

my old school in rathmines were fairly sound about it all, was in the VEC there not the other school. Teachers even complemented me on my 'lovely new thingy' in my lip

my principal is real bad about it, thats why i ave long hair (i hate having long hair but i prefer my piercings) i had to get a retainer for my anti-tragus though >.<
so far i only have piercings on my ears (and tongue but that is easily hidable)
the teachers are better, the ones who know dont care. one of them said that is was "interesting jewlery" and asked did it hurt, and was it safe.
....it was akward lol
