Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Blackburn must of slipped Sky a brown envelope. The third Rovers game on TV in two weeks, its like Heaven!

Hopefully the lads can keep up the good form at Ewood and record another victory, and hopefully it'll be a bit more exciting than the 0-0 borefest at the Reebok earlier this season.

Has he ever scored against United? Don't think he has. I wish he was still at Blackburn, him and Bellamy would destroy defences, with Bellamy's support play and Cole's finishing.

Spurs team to face the Pool:

    Robbo
    Staletri
    King
    Dawson
    Lee
    Jenas
    Carrick
    Davids
    Tainio
    Keane
    Mido

    Subs:
    Cerny
    Brown
    Lennon
    Gardner
    Defoe

Didn't expect anything without the two in bold, hopeful of a good show now and a score draw.

What's the story with Lee? I thought he was going to be missing for a while after the Sommeil tackle.

.. think i'll try to make up for it with a few quid on a portsmouth villa double

He'd bad bruising after the Citeh game, but he had a scan the following day and the news was pretty positive. Can't imagine we'd have let Pamarot go without Lee being available to play, so I assume he was fit from early in the week.

3-0 to the Arse. Henry, Senderos and Henry. Boo yeah.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,251 ✭✭✭✭Lemlin

Arsenal 3-0 up after thirty minutes. Two from Henry and one from Senderos.

Charlton one-nil up thanks to Bryan Hughes. Anyone know if Darren Bent got the assist?

Yesssss, Cygan injures himself and is replaced by Ashley Cole. My god Arsenal need him back. Cygan may now disappear somewhere and die.

Villa 1 nil up too, Hendrie got it after he came on after 11 minutes to replace Bakke who got injured. He has a point to prove and has made a good start.

Did Henry set up either of the two other goals? Hopefully he did for my fantasy team. He needs to start paying off the 14 million transfer fee!

Senderos' goal was from a Reyes corner I think. According to BBC Pires' goal was a solo effort.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,473 ✭✭✭Roddy23

doesn't look like he did, reyes setup Senderos, and I think Cesc set up Pires.
Although having scored two and its only half time is pretty sweet too.

Yep, he should pick up the 3 bonus points now too. Hopefully he'll get the hat-trick and Arsenal will win 5-1 (I want 'Boro to score because I've no Arsenal defenders!).

West Ham now beating Villa 2-1. Harewood and Zamora have both scored.

5-0 to the Arse. Gilberto Silva. Good news for Lemlin, assist by Henry. However he apparently missed a fairly easy chance for his hat trick earlier in the half.

Arsenal 5 up. Gilberto. Liverpool leading thanks to a cracker from Kewell (according to my mate, in work so haven't seen it myself).

Good stuff. Ah, no worries, he'll probably get it yet! What is it with 'Boro-Arsenal games, there's usually at least about 5 goals, if not more.

Yeah best game I've ever watched (well game I enjoyed the most) was the Arsenal Boro game at the beginning of last season. Arsenal were still on that unbeaten run, looking for the all time record. Arsenal went 1-0 up but then found themselves 3-1 down at the beginning of the second half. Ended up winning 5-3. Best moment was just after Pires equalised, they were still showing the replay when Reyes put Arsenal ahead. I was watching it with a load of United fans in Prague. They were all very smug when Arsenal were 3-1 down, the look on their faces when Reyes scored was priceless. Fantastic game.

Oh and there's Henry's hat trick for you.

Woohoo, knew he'd do it. Anyone who has him as captain is going to be minted.

If Arsenal keep going, they could match United 9-0 record.

That's me, unfortunately my team were doing so badly I gave up playing a month or so back. Haven't even looked at the site since then.

Sounds like Henry & Reyes are ripping them apart; Reyes supplying the ammunition and Henry doing the finishing. 3 assists for the Spaniard now I think.

Oh, and that hat-trick means Henry is now Arsenal's joint all-time top LEAGUE scorer with Cliff Bastin (150 goals).

What an embarassment for Boro, might as well wave goodbye to any chance at a CL place.

Equals Cliff Bastin's goal scoring record for Arsenal and it was his 150th Premiership goal.

Boro are a shambles it seems.

    7-0, Hleb! Finally! :)

Wow, I didn't know Hleb was capable of shooting, nevermind scoring. I don't remember him ever deciding to have a shot instead of passing (and probably losing the ball).

Actually I was just thinking if he was ever going to get a goal it'd be now.

Edit: BBC says he put one over the bar from 6 yards 2 minutes later.
