wireless keyboard/mouse

I brought a cheapish wireless Logitech key board and mouse. It works great and happy with, apart from the range.
My TV/monitor is wall mounted, and I sit on the sofa, about 6 meters away. The range of the wireless short by about 2 meters.

Can any one recommend a wireless with a very good range, and a good price.

both myself and Rob (Davey's bro) have one.

The range is huge.... i'll be getting a second one so i can leave the PC upstairs and the screen downstairs..... i've tested the range and indoors your looking at over 20 feet

It's a VAIO VGPWKB1,

Ironically enough it's not on sony.ie or the VAIO website, but you can order them in any Sony Centre or PC world or sony www.sonystyle.ie

THey have them at €149 but trust me on this one....it's worth it.

not sure about good price, but I got myself the logitech dinovo laser cordless desktop.
it uses bluettoth and I have an amazing range.
My comp is in my bedroom and I can control it in the livingroom, which would be about 15 meters away through walls.

might give it a try.
or just buy a USB extension cable and bring the received closer
