the second most used term on this thing is "theoretical physics" or "TP" so i dont think a masters in economics shud be looked down upon at all haha ;) anyway from what i hear around the corridors the ucd masters is not the best, like the whole point of the masters is to specialise and apparently ucd is getting broader by the day. some ppl i know are going to london, oxford and trinity (their masters is better although the undergrad sector sucks!)
anyway yoda i await responses to your original post eagerly and excitedly!

What's the story with undergrad economics in Trinity?

just a bit of unfounded trinity bashing, nothing less, nothing more.
but my friend who got loadsa points did research for college, haha! and on some kind of international scale, the economics department in belfield rates higher then trinity, but not the department in smurfit. i think he got it from MIT?

ya i was looking at trinity as well but i like the sound of studying in ucd a bit. prefer some of the subject content. also looking at wales cos there is one pretty good one over there. im pretty much a final year who is not quite ready for the real world of work!
