Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Motorola Phone Tools

Got myself a Motorola L6 which I think (and was told) can be connected to a PC, but didn't come with any software. Windows XP recognises it as an L6 alright, but doesn't know what do with it (it's got a usb connector and also bluetooth)

Can the 'Motorola Phone Tools' software be downloaded anywhere? or do they charge you for it?

(or if there's other software that will do the trick I'll go for that.. basically just want to get photos off it).

    Cheers.

You should not need Phone Tools if your photos are stored on a mem card rather than the sim card .... ..... don't know the L6 but I bought a E770v and I can make the mem card the default for photo storage and can then access the card as follows

(the power down/up is just to give it a clean start in case you have been messing about when trying to get access to the memory)

you need to follow this to the letter on the E770v from my experience ...
Power down phone (using red button)

    Power up phone .. .. ..

On phone …. Connections >select USB > select memory card

    Cable into phone

    Put USB Cable into PC

    then ....

My computer > double click on drive E …. Double click on ‘mobile’ ….. then right click on picture folder and open with ‘U Lead Explorer ….. (the U lead thingy is something I use re photo's)

Phone tools is available from Voda shops and with it you get a usb cable for 29.00 euros  ...
