I read small bit in "Business & Finance" magazine a few months ago re. an Irish company who supplied information screens for use in forecourts. The screens mainly displayed advertising.
The company had recently closed a deal to install these screens in a number of locations in one of the Baltic states.
I have forgotten the name of the company and can't find the magazine.
Does anyone know who they are by any chance?

    Retail Petroleum Solutions? (RPS)

I know they supply a lot of the equipment and electronics to forecourts.
They were bought by UK firm Torex in the latter half of last year.

    Forecourt advertising
    Sunday, May 29, 2005 -
Network cabling companyKedington has partnered with CAds, a newly-launched media company, to roll out an entertainment media system targeted at garage forecourts.

Under the terms of its six-month €150,000 contract,Kedington will install multimedia LCDscreens above fuel pumps in garages around the country. The screens will provide entertainment and advertising to customers. “Every time people refuel their cars, they are a captive audience for between 30 seconds and three minutes,” said Mark Elliott, founder of CAds. “We can deliver a targeted audience for a range of advertisers, from consumer brands to auto insurance companies.” The system is already operational in 20 locations, including Dublin, Cork and Kilkenny. The companies plan to roll it out to 100 stations nationwide over the next six months. Founded in 1989,Kedington was bought by Esat BT in 1999, before returning to Irish ownership following a management buy-out (MBO) in April last year. TheMBO,whichwas led by company foundersMatt Porter and Colm Lyons, saw the pair secure ownership of the entire company, which employs over 110 people at three offices. Itsmost recent turnover was almost €10 million.
