Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Desktop icons superimposed over other icons...

Any help would be appricated. (Mods, unsure if this is the correct place, apologies if it's not)

I've had my laptop re-installed. Pior to the rebuild, I copied my desktop items (shortcuts, documents, etc.) onto a n/w share. After the install I moved them back to the desktop.
It appears as though, somewhere along the way, the icons was lost and replaced with the generic "My Network Places" icon. Now before I copied them back, some application icons were already on the desktop. These have all now be superimposed with the generic "My Network Places" icon.

So, if you can imagine, my Firefox icon, now has the firefox icon barely visiable behind the generic "My Network Places" icon. ie, at first glance all icons are the the generic "My Network Places" icon.

Has anyone seen this before? Or have any ideas on how to fix it.

(I've tried the "change icon" option, but the only changes the background icon (ie the real one) and leave the n/w places in front)

Any help appricated guys. Running Win2k Sp4
