Good books on sound dynamics/mixing

Can anyone reccomend any good books on sound dynamics processing..EQ/Compression/Gates/reverb/distortion & that kind of thing. i'd rather buy a book, but if you know of electronic formats available anywhere, they'd be handy to have too.

anything by paul white is good. he's the editor of Sound on Sound. They're website is particularly marvellous at www.soundonsound.com.
I have one called basic mixing techniques which was a great introduction.
