    Hi guys, I don't know if this is the right place to be posting this is the right place for this post but I'm sure the admins will move it if they have too.

    Halfords are opening a new store in LIMERICK (out by B&Q, at the City East Business Park), the official opening will be on the 11th of February. Ripspeed, which is Halfords car mod section are looking for some cars to display on the opening day. To do this we are having a SHOW & SHINE event a few days before the stores official launch to pick 3 or 4 of the best cars. The prizes are yet to be confirmed but the winner will receive a two hundred euro voucher for halfords and the runners up will get something nice too.

    We only want show & shine entries eg. heavily modified cars, paint job, bodykit, ICE, mahossive wheels, interior retrim and so on.....

    The shop will be open to the public next Friday, 27th of jan.

    The show and shine will be taking place on Sunday the 5th of February, and judging will start between 4pm and 5pm. As stated before, if your information has not been forwarded to us, you will not be allowed to compete. Closing date for the entries is on the 31st of January, and all entrants will receive confirmation by phone or email before the 3rd of February.
    On the day we will select 3 to 5 winners depending on the number of entrants, and they will be asked to return on the 11th for the final which will be judged by some Ripspeed specialists and covered by the media.

    UPDATE!!

    With all the interest shown in the show, we have decided to give our cameraman a break and let anyone who is interested in our show & shine competition to come and have a go. For those of you who have already forwarded your info to us, thank you for taking the time to do so and we hope to see all of you on the day.

    Anyone interested in showing their motor will now be asked to:
    Come along on the 5th at least an hour before judging (3.00pm, plenty of time to get on another coat of wax)
    Drop into the shop and register with a member of the Ripspeed Crew,
    Judging will take place at about 4pm, and finalists announced asap.

    If you are lucky enough to be one of the 3 to 5 finalists, you'll be asked to come back on the 11th for the final and main store launch. Two of our english Ripspeed specialists will be flying in to judge the final and there will be local and national media coverage.
