Editting the title of a thread

    How can this be done? Have been scratching my noodle on this one for quite a while.

    If you started the thread, click the edit button on the first post, then "Go Advanced". Change the title of the post, and it should change the title of the thread.

    Nope, just double click the line of the thread (beside the title) in the forum view and you can edit it there and then.
    Like so:
    threadtitle9vj.jpg

    that only changes the title of the post, seamus (at least in the previous version of VBb). To edit the thread title, open the thread, click on "thread tools" and then "edit thread". AFAIK only mods or superheroes can do it.

    You're quite wrong Fuzzy. :)

    The method I mentioned does work for non-mods. WizZard's method also works for non-mods, which I think is cool.

    If the post is the opening post of a thread it changes the title of the thread as well AFAIK

    It does indeed, though it may be limited to those who are mods of the forum (FireFox screenshot attached). Totally new to me, delighted you pointed that out Wizzard :)
