Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How did you set up your jumpstart server?
Is it a Solaris 9/10 machine or something else?
Sparc or Intel (both client and server) ?
What parts succeed before mountroot fails?

jumpstart server was already configued and several installs successfully completed this morning and all of last week.

it is an x86 PC with Windows 2003 Server on one partition and Solaris 10 on the other. I am attempting to install what will become the FCS version of Solaris 10.

i suspect it may be my ethernet card.....someone told me some types do not support these type of installs....maybe.....

did attempt to install through dvd-cd but kept getting time outs with it....

    Ethernet card sounds likely.
    What kind is it?
Is it PXE or another boot prom?

Can you swap the network card conveniently?
