    Hi

Does anyone know the best place to buy roof slates either real or composite?

I have looked at Tegral and importing slates direct from China, does anyone have any experience of this?

    Hi dan.....

There are a lot of slate suppliers in the Irish market at the moment, regarding importing slate from China I think you will find that the majority of those who tried that solution did get cheap slate in more ways than one.

Unless you want to go into hiding from every customer my advice is leave the slate in China regardless of what name they offer to put on each pallet for you.

As for Tegral, well they have have been in Ireland for a long time and they know the market but more important they know our climate so the slates they make are made to suit Ireland.

For quality natural slate I find it hard to beat Richmond Building Products, again market experience and quality products at reasonable prices make them hard to beat.

It's very easy to be cheap especially where products are concerned the real trick is to provide quality products at fair prices and RBP have never let me down.
