Does anything happen if after being told by a garda to produce your licence to a garda station within 10 days and then you don't?? Just asking. Have had a full licence for 7 years.

Yes. If you have been asked to show your license, show it. It'll only lead to complications if you don't show it

The next thing that will happen is that you will receive a summons, requiring your presence in a District/Circuit Court.

If you have forgotten to show it go to the station where you think the Guard that stopped you is based and let them know. As they will only check your nominated station once.
You also could get points if he thinks your taking the mick

Produce it. Or get a summons to court ( and probably a fine).

Carry it in future. Isn't that the law now?

    Not your ornery onager

That's the official charge redser05, if you're stopped without a license you have 10 days to prove you are in possesion of one so get down to that station quick. Its a pain in the arse I've had to do it loadsa times but just go!
