Thats a strange one alright. Same exchange. As I said I did a router reboot and then a power cycle. Anyway all is well. I had the new speeds when I booted up today. My router now shows 3072/384. IrishIspTest was giving me 2.54/300 and I am pinging clarity.jolt.co.uk @ 25ms and boards @ 15ms!!
I'm with UTV btw but going on their plans to either not increase our caps from 16gb or charge more for bigger caps, I don't think I'll be with them for much longer.

Anyone else seeing strange results in Blanchardstown. Assumed that one upgraded would be all upgraded.
Nope, each exchange can have multiple ASAMs. One of the three Blanch ASAMs had issues prior to the migration so it might not have been upgraded yet.

    It is what it's.

    2.5 IS 300kb, even 312.

Looks like UTV have updated speeds although I can't see anything on their site. I have the 'Clicksilver 1mb' connection. About 4 days ago it was half these speeds.

    Speedtest result from www.irishisptest.com/myspeed
    Download Speed is 1.70Mbps
    Upload Speed is 201kbps
    Quality of Service: 99%
    Round Trip Time: 23ms
    Max Pause; 44ms

I have had generally good service from UTV. Only an hour or two downtime in 2 years that I was aware of. The only other thing was I had to get specific server numbers sent to me when I upgraded my Entourage program on a Mac a few months ago. They said there was some kind of incompatibility with their mail servers and Entourage. It meant that I couldn't send mail. Cost is €30 per month plus Eircom rental.
I'll probably go with Smart when they upgrade my exchange.

my service went down a couple of nights ago. i'm assuming the upgrade was done then.
    eircom home starter (i think)
    exchange: Leixlip
it was 1024 down and 128 up. it's double that now.

don't know how to do that ping thing.
to be honest, i haven't really noticed any difference.

same situation myself, i'm out at the donadea exchange, a few miles down there road, on the DSL2 package, the line was upgraded last night as it was higher speeds this morning and all afternoon, in the last few hours though the downstream speeds are flutuating wildly, downloading a file from Heanet it settles on anywhere from 40kbs, to the expected ~320. irishISP was giving steady readings of 2.6mb downstream all day previously, now gives around 300k down, which is usually after it falls from around the 2.6 mark dramatically.

i think digiweb may have just buckled under the pressure tonight....

as for pings, was getting an average of 27ms at various times of the day, this is what i'm getting now:
