Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Keep in mind that you'll only ever see close to 108Mbps if you use another proprietary card. (i.e. You'll have to buy a suitable D-link card..)

The wrt54gs gets a thumbs up for it's support (linksysinfo.org ftw), and two antennae and it's Linksys:)

And, if you haven't already: compare prices with komplett.ie and expansys.ie ;)

Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) firewall provides the highest form of protection for routers. An SPI firewall incorporates Packet Filtering while automatically provides rigorous inspections of all inbound and outbound communications. This protects your network against malicious attacks that flood your network with inappropriate packets/data. Normally SPI Firewalls come with DoS and Intrusion Detection (see below) enhancing security even further

NAT firewall is the most basic form of security a Broadband router provides. NAT was originally designed to allow you to share a single IP address among all the computers in your home or business. However NAT mode also acts as a basic firewall that rejects any unsolicited data that tries to travel from the Internet to a computer on your LAN.

    I'd go for this one...http://komplett.ie/k/ki.asp?sku=306148&cks=PRL

I bought one of these to share my IBB connection between 3 PCs and a wifi laptop. Does the job very well. Also has fairly good firewall, security and VPN features.

As Karoma said, you will have to get a wifi card to get the benefit of the speedbooster feature. Go for 54Mbps and save yourself a few quid!!!
