Should a 3Mb line be only getting 2.10 Mbps. When running ISP Test the download speed initally starts off at 2.67 Mbps but quickly drops to 2.10 and then remains there for the rest of the test. This is the 3mb / 384 Eircom package Please advise:confused:

2 downloads from 2 diff. heanet mirrors will give you more accurate results. i quite often can't get full constant speed readings unless i use more than one.

something like DU meter or another good bandwidth monitoring tool will give you your proper speeds too.

I have the Enhanced Package (5MB / 514KB) and I can not get better than 2MB Down 400KB Up.

Would upgrading the modem firmware help (Cayman 3346)?
