Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    It sure will.

Bluetooth USB dongles are quite cheap on ebay - around uk10 incl. postage so it might be worth a look.

try and make sure you get one that comes with the Widcomm Bluetooh Software, unless you are using XP Service Pack 2 which has Bluetooth Suppurt built into the Operating System (and even then I still use the Widcomm Bluetooh software with XP SP2)

one of the best one's out there was TDK's USB adapter, now supported / distributed by Ezurio - but a Belkin one will do the trick and may be easier to get your hands on if you want to buy locally

Yep, I got this new for 15p + £8.79 shipping (comes from Hong Kong). Works fine for me with a bluetooth headset. That company lists loads of them on ebay.

Just make sure the dongle you buy supports the profile you want. Profiles are things like Dial-up Networking,Local Area Network Access,File Transfer, etc. If you want to use a bluetooth headset you'll be looking for a dongle with supporting the headset profile and so on.

Well I decided to buy local ... no patience ;) so went down to the local PC $$$$$ this afternoon and I got the Belkin .... seems to have lots of abilities/flexibility .... my main interest is file transfer and it's doing a fine job on the trial runs I've done so far ....

So now when I'm asked "Do you use Bluetooth?" ....

    I can say ..."Of course!!!!" .... :p

many thanks for the advice ... :)
