Results of Speed Test ?

    I have just run a speed test and the last reading is as follows;
    Your download Speed is 842kbps
    other reading givem as 124kbps

    I guess there is no upgrade here with BT on the Ennis exchange.??

    Have you restarted your router?

    I read somewhere else that this fixed it for them. Worth a try.

    Yes I pulled the power on the modem about an hour ago and still the same.
    Will just wait and hope something happens tonight.
    I was using USB from the BT Zyxel 600 modem but put in an Ethernet card
    yesterday to free up USB port. Its a Belking 32BIT 10/100bt card, not that I think it makes any difference.

    How do i do a speed test?
    Dose 2048/256 (kbps) sound good?
    Not sure where i got this from.

    2048/256 is your max speed you'll get but you'll never get your true speed on any adsl product let alone one of eircoms
