Hey, I work for a wireless company in Ireland (not IBB) and we use a
    3com Wireless 11g Router/Firewall. Its a prity solid router.
The price is about 100 euros.

If you are using wireless and don't need a phone line to deliver DSL, you should consider a wireless router with ATA ports.
It would be cost more, but would allow you the option to cancel your Eircon line and run voice over the wireless.

Have a look at the Voip forum.

Presumably the poster wants a wireless router to attach to the Net1 equipment so why should Net1 be concerned?

    I use this... wired/wireless.

    Linksys BEFSR41W

Wireless Laptop, wireless pc and wireless/wired (depending on where I am) xbox live.

Had two years now, no problems, lovely.

Er... but you want a router. Sorry.

Thanks for the replies people. Netgear dont supply any modem.router at all. They put a little antenna on my house, and run a cable(Rj45 i think) from it which plugs into my network card on the pc.
Thats how they`ll be setting it up, but i want to be able to use my lappy wirelessly so want a wireless router.

That VOIP stuff sounds great. Getting rid of Eircom line. Im reading the forum that was linked, its bit confusing but i think im following it. (Im not a computer person :D ) Very helpfull replies lads, thanks. :)
