    Hi,

Im coming to the end of my UTV contract and although I've been very happy with the service and connection I cant stand this LOW download cap anymore.

Im looking to change to someone who has more download!

I was thinking of IBB but there seems to be a lot of bad press about them. Which is the best to go for ? Is IBB really that bad ?

    Hi,

Im hoping to get hooked up to xbox live. Will BT allow you to share the internet connection as well ?

Also, whats the DL / UL limit and approx cost of the BT option.

You can share the connection with BT (and all the other providers aswell)
    Current packages
    2mb down/256k up incl. line rental = €40 p/m. 20gb cap (1st 4 months = €25 p/m)
    3mb down/384k up incl. line rental = €50 p/m. 30gb cap (1st 4 months = €35 p/m)
    Modem/router supplied. €50 connection fee.
    New packages from Feb 1st:
1Mb with Line Rental for €35 per month 20gb cap (I think)
2Mb with Line Rental for €40 per month 20gb cap
3Mb with Line Rental for €50 per month 30gb cap
    Standard modem/router supplied. €40 connection.
Wireless router option for €40 extra.

Sorry for jumping on your thread but it's kinda relevant if you go with BT.:D

I just rang BT to switch from Eircom.

They're sending out the DTAF form for my signature.

Do I need to contact Eircom myself to cancel or does the DTAF from BT cover everything?

    TIA.

I believe it covers everything. I don't remember us contacting €ircon to transfer.
