Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Every time I install a new software (eg Itunes, Apache, Mysql), I get the add new hardware dialog box when I reboot. How to I stop this. I know there's probably an obvious fix for this but It eludes me at the moment.
    appreciate your help,
    thanks:o

    oh:)
There was an issue with Win95...

For this: Are you sure it isn't just coincidence? and actually related to attached hardware which was not correctly installed?
Does it happen in safe mode?

I've kind of got around this by disabling the devices (even though they are not devices, they register as devices).

    thanks for your advice.

Funnily enough this has happened to me too in the past few days - I installed a legitimate copy of xpro with sp2 on a laptop and each time I started up it was finding new hardware but it was actually software that it was referring to!!!
